We offer guided tours for groups of 15 or more, to help visitors learn more about our temple and Buddhist philosophy. Tours may take place any day of the week, and any time from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Written notice is required. Each tour lasts approximately 30 minutes, during which time our staff or volunteers will guide visitors through the grounds on an enlightening journey of Chinese art, culture, and Buddhism.

To book a tour, please fill out the Tour Request Form. You may also fax requests to (604) 271-2338 or e-mail requests to temple@buddhisttemple.ca. Please note that we do not accept guided tour requests over the phone. Tour requests may only be submitted via fax, e-mail, or our website.

When submitting fax or e-mail tour requests, please include the following information:

Date and Time of Tour
Number of Attendees (min. 15)
Contact Information

After receiving your request, we will check our availability and reply to confirm your booking. Please allow us a few days to respond.

*** The temple offers guided tours to schools and other educational institutions free of charge, to inform the public about Chinese art, culture, and Buddhist philosophy. For groups with no official affiliation to educational institutions, a recommended donation of $2.00 per person is greatly appreciated, so that we may continue to offer this service to the community.***
